"I'd like to thank the Springport Telephone Company for opening its doors to me and taking me on a tour of its
operations," Simpson said. "This tour served as a reminder of just how much small companies in our state contribute to
the overall economy and how much they believe in providing quality service. It is so refreshing to see a small phone
company in a rural area of our state continue to invest in our community by providing the latest technology to its
customers."
On the Nov. 12 tour, Simpson met with Springport Telephone Co. General Manager Bill Hammond, Office Manager Janet
Beilfuss and other employees of the company located at

what issues most concern the residents and businesses of my district," Simpson. "It was a valuable experience for me not
only to tour this operation, but also to hear what company leaders have to say about how upcoming House legislation may
affect small businesses across our state."
